The Name Of The Game: Donald Trump & Jeffrey Epstein

“The Game with the Names” - Marsh Family parody of ABBA “The Name of the Game” on Trump and Epstein

Aug 6, 2025 FAVERSHAM This parody addresses the drama around the Jeffrey Epstein files – yet to be fully published, though Trump and co have promised to release them on multiple occasions to expose supposed conspiracies about famous names caught up in sordid behaviour. Epstein died in prison in 2019 awaiting a further trial for the trafficking & sexual abuse of minors. His death ended pursuit of criminal charges – but not suspicions, which were not quashed by the FBI and DoJ’s release of CCTV footage in 2025 that was incomplete. Epstein had a long-standing friendship with Donald Trump (till he ‘stole’ young women who worked at the Mar-a-Lago beach club spa).

Lately pictures & alleged correspondence have emerged, including showing Trump with Epstein’s longstanding partner in child sexual abuse and prostitution (herself convicted in 2021), Ghislaine Maxwell. Legal discussions and moves are now afoot to allow her to testify in return for some leniency, as the administration scrambles to placate an angry base without damaging Trump further or releasing the grand jury transcripts in full (which mention his name). The issue has managed to unite Americans even of different political colours – no easy feat these days – with 79% (YouGov-Economist) believing all case documents should be released.

It should go without saying … but in the current digital environment, is worth stressing … that the lyrics poke fun at criminals and exploiters of women but aren’t intended to demean the horrendous crimes and the real trauma inflicted on vulnerable victims, who we hope will get what they wish: justice, transparency, and no clemency for perpetrators.
